Ósar’s Social Responsibility Goals for 2024

At Ósar, we are proud of our role in promoting better health and a healthy lifestyle. Every day, we work on the important task of ensuring that the nation has access to essential medicines and medical devices, thus playing a significant role in the Icelandic healthcare system. We are leaders in the sale and marketing of various health-promoting products related to sports, exercise, dietary supplements, and healthy eating. Social responsibility is therefore intertwined with the purpose and goals of our operations, as reflected in our health-focused priorities and culture in all our activities.

 

The main objective of the Ósar Group when it comes to corporate social responsibility and sustainability is to be a leading company in the Icelandic market in improving the health and well-being of the nation. In addition, we have defined the following key sustainability goals for the coming years:

Goal: Define the food waste sorting ratio at Brasserie Ósar, the canteens of Ósar, Icepharma, and Parlogis.
